Britney Spears Charged With Hit and Run

Britney Spears just can't catch a break. Her week went from bad to really bad as she was charged with one count hit and run and one count of driving without a valid license. She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on October 10

Hit and run? Yup, remember back in August when she hit a car in the parking lot and she just left. Well, her good friends, the paparazzi obviously caught that on tape which ended up getting her in a lot of trouble. She can serve up the 6 months in jail if they give her the max sentence.

"According to DMV records in California, no license has ever been issued to her," city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said.

This afternoon, a very emotional Spears was in tears as she entered her lawyers office. Sad!

I'm not a fan and never have been, but I actually feel really bad for her. After all, she IS a human being. I just have this bad feeling that she might kill herself or something. And THAT would suck. I hope she pulls herself together. No one deserves to be kicked this many times when they're down.

Hey La Chat what's up??? Long time no post. But back to the subject at hand, I have a bad feeling about this girl. Everything seems to be falling apart. And a lot is her fault: partying, foolish decisions, not listening to anyone etc... But a person can only take so much.

I mean, is this true? If it is, then everytime we've seen her drive...she hasn't had a license? Didn't she get pulled over before? What id did she give them? Does anyone remember when Halle Berry had a hit and run, except she hit a car that had someone inside of it and the passenger was hurt? I don't get why everyone still likes halle but they're ready to hang britney by the tree? not a fan but feel so sorry for this girl. How much can one person handle? I hope she's made peace with her family b/c she needs support right now. I'm not condoning her behavior at all - that's another topic all together. I just think this girl is gonna jump off the deep end and check out of life for real. If Kevin had any kind of heart, he would back off her ever so slightly. Especially after what she did for him for 3 years... buying him everything under the sun and allowing him to live a life of luxury - on her dime. How ungrateful is he? Fighting her for custody when all he really wants is probably a big payout. The kids need both parents... maybe he can work something out with her mom and this way Brit wont lose the kids entirely and has a chance to get herself help. People have some compassion - she is human. The license and hit & run thing -unacceptable behavior , but does anyone think this girl is in the right state of mind to begin with?
