Britney Released From Psych Ward

That was quick! So much for the 14-day hold. According to the LA Times, Britney Spears was released from the psych ward at the UCLA Medical Center today after nearly a week of treatment.

Britney slipped out unnoticed this time, and it’s unclear where she's headed. Some people are speculating at she'll be at one of her many homes in LA and seek outpatient treatment, but her mother Lynne had expressed interest in taking her back to Kentwood.

A law enforcement officer has said that they released her "because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 AM." Apparently, the docs at the hospital didn't feel like she was a threat to herself anymore.

Tasha I agree that she needs more then 4 to 5 days of treatment. She probably would need a whole year of treatment with the way she lives her life, but it's a mircle that she under went treatment that long. Let's hope that her daddy can make improvements in her life style and put her ass in check, and remember that things are not going to change over night for her.

britney will pick up where she left off. if she is well enough to be released i'm sure her lawyers will tell the court she is well enough to take care of her finances. so her father might not be in control for much longer.

Tasha...Now that her fathers involved I think he's going to keep her in check. He already got rid of some of her problems. Like Sam Lutfi and kept her paparrazzi user boyfriend away from the hospital while she was being treated.

A few days ago, Britney was deemed unable to comprehend what was going on around her by her doctors, and yet today, she has been released and is already driving around.This is not a good thing. I don't know what the problem with California hospitals is, but they certainly seem inept at taking care of their patients.Britney needed more time there. I'm sure the paps will be out in full force once again hounding her. I don't think I can watch all of the drama going down all over again...the paps, the faux British accent, the pink wig, the billions of gas station, hotel, Rite Aid runs etc...the girl will end up dead by the end of the year at this rate.

I hope that she does stay with her mom in Kentwood it would be best if she stays away from the limelight and all the trouble that hollywood has to offer. I hope though that if she does stay with her mom she can still be allowed to have monitored visitation with her kids she should be allowed to see her kids if she is taking care of her health and is in no danger to them, others and herself.
