Britney Plans Her MTV VMA Performance

"It's Britney, b*tch." She's backkkkkk!

Say what you will about Britney Spears but the girl knows how to make headlines. Yesterday her track "Gimme More" was leaked onto the internet and I must say, it's amazing! It really sounds like the old Britney.

Britney is planning on officially having her 'comeback' on Sept. 9th on the MTV VMA's in Las Vegas. "Mindfreak" magician/her new boy toy Criss Angel will use his best illusions to try to conjure up a comeback for her.

We hear Angel will help Spears vanish and then reappear several times through mirrors during her performance. Do you guys think Spears has what it takes to really 'wow' us like she has at past MTV performances? After I heard her track about 15 times yesterday, I'm starting to gather up some confidence in the ex-pop tart.

i think the new songs stink. yeah, they're kinda catchy but the "i'm a cat in heat" gutteral way she sings has got to go. her voice just irritates me now. and it seems like she thinks that talking/moaning like a little girl is sexy and it's just not. it's apparant that her refusal to grow as a person have affected not only her personal life, but her professional life as well. keep trying Brit, you could pull it off if you keep trying...

I had mentioned earlier, the beats are nice but the voice is horrible. But people will buy it anyways. A song will sale as long as it has a catchy beat. But the thing is-will the whole album be nothing but beats and lack of vocals because if not then the album will not be a true hit. Michael Jackson can drop an album today and it would sell and be loved because he is an entertainer and have lots of fans behind him although his personal life is crazy...just like Britney. The unfort part about Britney, unlike Michael, she doesn't see that being in the spotlight is less important than being with your children. I will have to hand it to Mike on that one-he eliminated himself from the spotlight for his kids. But loo loo is right, her voice annoys me and she does sound like a cat in heat... Nevertheless, she still should be focused on her children and not this stupid "comeback" career.

songs alone are so not enough for a comeback here... what she really needs is to get her head checked and start sorting out her issues. AND having some dedication and a decent nutritionist, a personal trainer and a proper style team to whip her back into shape wouldn't harm the chances either.

I heard the "comeback" song and I wish she'd go back from whist she came...it's a club tune, nothing more. Perhaps a good DJ can mix it and make it into something interesting. And she doesn't have a singing voice, it's all though some synthezier machine. Britney is lame and she is one of the reasons that music sucks nowadays. She needs to go buy some nickers and take care of her kids.

this is a "comeback"? she's only 25. a new album from someone who was big in the 80's or 90's would be a "comeback". britney's sound hasn't changed, just the same stuff remixed.

i do agree w/ the fact that she shouldn't be in the studio to begin with. she needs to be at home w/ her kids. if she had a little more patince and was spending this time with them, THEN she could have a comeback. go home and raise your kids. your music will continue to suck until you do so. lol

i think brit is going to do REALLY well at the VMA's. she's a performer and this will be a great chance for her to show us all that she still has it. her vocals really sucks (they always have) but she's smart and knows the right people to work with and how to market herself well. she may drive us crazy and she's definitely a mess but all in all i hope she does well at the VMA's - i'll be rooting her on! i caught some of the THS on E! about the mickey mouse club & it completely made me rememeber why so many of us loved britney back in the day. i hope & pray for her sake & her boys sake that she gets it together and this performance will get her past her insecurities. can u guys imagine what it is like to be her? could anyone be any more criticized for every step she takes in life? i'd be a mess too!

I cant wait till she performers shes one of the best proformers ive ever seen and always puts on a great show shes one of the few performers that i would pay 2 see and get my moneys worth,cant wait to see whats shes got up her sleeve cause since its her comeback you know its gonna be good,SHOW EM U STILL GOT IT BRITT!!!!

TALENTLESS! She can SORT OF sing, but lip syncs at every major performance anyway. She can't play any instruments, or explore any vocal styles except teeny bopper pop. She doesn't even WRITE her own songs. And when she tries, it's like something my 7 year old would have written! If you think this is "good", you have NO TASTE!

I'm going to do something different and post something positive. I hope Brittany makes a comeback. I don't know what to expect. She's always been a pretty good entertainer. I guess time will tell if she's is truly back or not. So far, I like what I heard.

Sin, your comment is not "something different". Hollyscoop has been just crawling with girlies wishing Spears an undeserved comeback. The new single is crap and Britney is crap, but still the Brit-wits can't help but hope and wish for the very best for their A-hole idol.

Of course she will be amazing. She is a performer. This is what she does. She has done a few shows in her time....I think she's 'got it' more than we give her credit for.

Britney's performance was what you would expect to see in a cheap bar. Evidently she's forgotten how to lip sync AND dance due to all the drugs and alcohol. She needs to go home and work on being a mother, which she's not very good at either.
