Britney On Suicide Watch - Britney Spears

Yikes! This Britney Spears drama keeps getting worse and worse! Britney was wheeled into Cedars-Sinai Hospital in the wee hours this morning following a dramatic evening at her Beverly Hills home.

Spears is currently waiting to undergo a mental evaluation, which will take place later today. The troubled star is on a 72-hour psych hold at the hospital and is currently on suicide watch. Britney is a "special needs" patient, which means "they have either overdosed or tried to commit suicide. So we go stay with these patients and monitor them constantly. We watch them so they don't hurt themselves and watch the people who come visit them to make sure they don't pass anything to them." So sad!

When cops finally arrived at her home last night they said that she was "under the influence of a substance" but wouldn't reveal what substance it was.

One onlooker said: "Britney looked completely out of it, but still managed to flip off the photographers and smiled at the same time. She is just unbelievable."

While at the hospital she will also undergo a series of drug tests, which I'm sure won't help her in the custody battle for her children.

Kevin Federline arrived at the hospital to check up on his troubled ex wife around 12:20AM this morning. Spears will spend the rest of the weekend at the hospital instead of gas stations.

UPDATE: Just as we expected K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is going to be going to court this morning to ask the Commissioner to take Britney's visitation rights away from her.

Damn. That girl needs to seriously WANT help to get it. She isn't insane or coo coo to the point of not recognizing there's indeed a problem. I think she's very aware of it, she just doesn't give a fuck right now. She's comfortable with it. I feel sorry for britany she was put in the entertainment business at a young age. its not her fault that she cant mentally stand up to the issues she has at such a young age. I never used to be a real big fan of brit's. Some of her music was cool. But now my heart goes out to her. You can hear the change in her music as u listen. And maybe she does want some attention. But what she really needs is a family that actually gives a s*it. Her Mom obviously isn't that great of a Mom. If my daughter was goin thru this kinda sh*t I would be the first one there for her. And kevin? Don't even get me started on that low life. She paid for everything for his sorry gold-diggin ass! And they talk about us females bein gold-diggers! He didn't make none of that money. And sometimes when you hurt that bad on the inside, you can do yourself a lot of harm tryin to make it go away. Or at least find something else that hurts more to dull it. Thats when you need your family. Where the fuck is hers? And not letting her see her babies is only going to make her pain greater and things are going to get much much worse from what I can tell. I just pray that someone around her can love her enough to help her through this and guide her. No matter who you are everyone needs a little love sometimes. The comments are worse than the media and the papparrazi??? This girl has been under a microscope her whole young adulthood, do we know what stresses this can cause any of us if this were our daily life??? She was taken from a young innocent girl from a world that knew nothing about the industry that exploited her and many others and this is the result, the bottom line, how much $$$ they could make from this young girl??? She went from a wonderful relationship so it seemed with Justin and ended up with a LOW LIFE MONEY HUNGRY... cannot even call him a man and lured her in and married her and had children ASAP ( He set himself up but Kharma will come around ) so he could then knock her down and tear her world apart, nobody knows why she filed for divorce but she finally had a quick flash of the world he had introduced her to and wanted out??? When out she had experienced some of the Hollywood's Lifestyle that lured her in to make her managers, producers, papparrazi, parents and so on all the $$$ they can before the next young girl comes along, that is the way I see it!!! All the shopping binges were all to promote there stores and all the Club Promotions were also to promote the businesses, they don't care about the person, it is all about the mighty $$$. This girl hung with a croud that she later realized was not for her and through the stress of divorce, papparrazi on her 24/7 and the pressure of staying ontop for the people running her mind and $$$ and that LOSER called her ex husband because he needs to live in the lifestyle that SHE provided for him for a short time became to much for her to handle as well as her children which I am sure they are what keeps her alive but all we see is the negativity due to the Media and this poor child needs to be loved and nurtured and she needs to get away from this whole Industry and the people involved and find what really makes her happy in life and I believe she will have a chance at having her children back someday soon!!! Instead of putting her down and judging her why not look at what this poor girl has experienced in such a short time and not all you read about her, she is a human being that has feelings and you should all pray for her recovery. She doesn't have Paris's family nor $$$ to get her out of her troubles and if in fact Paris was going after her ex she is just as LOW as Brit's ex... What was even lower was the ex... SCUM... was sure to get full custody first thing in the morning, not that I wouldn't want what was best for the children but he has been waiting for her to make a mistake and that was enough pressure alone!!! I think people should mind their own business. We can all speculate for hours about why she is in so much trouble, but the fact is none of us know her and the people who care about her don't meet in this fourm. As for the people who have nothing but bad things to say about her, can't you find a better target, it's not like it takes a lot of effort to find a reason to rag on her. I'm not a fan of hers and I believe that she needs help but not the kind your all talking about. She should just dissappear from the media for awhile, a long while. I'm not sure which parent is worse for the kids to be with. K-Fed does drugs while the kids are with him and leaves them easily accessable to the children. Brit goes crazy every other week. Then theres Lynn, Brit's mom, who is worse than the two of them put together. I don't see how these children could b in much worse of a home.

I have to admit I have watched this for months...I was shocked, I laughed and called her an idiot......BUT NOW.....my heart aches for her....She has always been kinda rebellious and silly acting......But I believe her meltdown is the result of her divorce.......she is heartbroken, humiliated and sad.....She does it to herself and she knows it. As much as I'm not a fan of Britney, I do hope she gets some serious help. This looks like a complete mental break down to me...either that, or a cry for attention. Who knows how long she's been this way. My advice for her would be to get out of the Hollywood scene for a while so she can get her mind together. I think one's environment has a lot to do with mental health.

i'm guessing her experience at the deposition didn't sit too well with her, as she probably twigged to what she was going to go through. she's probably starting to realize she's going to be held accountable for everything she's been doing with her life and her kid's lives up to this point. i don't see custody improving much for brit after this... not by a long shot.
