Silly things like the recession don't affect super celebrities like
Britney Spears. In fact, she just purchased a $8.9 Million dollar mansion in Calabasas and can't wait to move in.
The "Château Sueños" or "Dream House" in The Oaks gated community of Calabasas boasts 10,000 square feet and it includes a rose garden and mosaic pool. It probably has a million bedrooms and a gazillion bathrooms that will never be be used because technically she still lives solo.
"I just took my babies to our new home, and they loved it!" Spears wrote on her Twitter account. "I can't wait to move in."
Britney was spotted with her entourage yesterday afternoon unloading some of her sons' toys outside the mansion.
Britney's allowed two overnight visits from her boys a week, so when they stay over, they'll have like 10 bedrooms to themselves. Ah the life of a celebrity child.
The house may be removed from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, but she still has a celebrity neighbor--we hear Travis Barker lives a few houses down. Wonder how many paps are going to get reassigned to Calabasas now?
