Britney Mad at Mom for Jamie Lynn's Pregnancy

The Spears' family household has more drama than a soap opera. In the latest Jamie Lynn pregnancy news, it appears that Britney gave her mother Lynn an ear full about her sisters pregnancy--and it wasn't pretty.

“Britney basically went off on her the entire time, blaming her for her and Jamie Lynn's messed up life,” says the insider. “It was a very hurtful call.”

Jamie Lynn was responsible for herself, but I don't think Lynn should have allowed her 16 year-old daughter to shake up with her 18+ year-old boyfriend. What are your thoughts? Do you think Lynn was a bad parent?

i blame lynn for the whole familys drama. starting with britneys childhood, she pushed her way too hard just because her loser husband jamie was in debt and couldnt find a job. up until then britney was a a normal kid. then her mom put a microphone in her hands. then britneys this crazed maniac who loses control of her kids. and jamie lynn has to witness all that. shes not had the easiest life. no wonder jamie lynn didnt wanna live with her mom.

Im seventeen and had my son while i was sixteen and im a better mom than even older parents.Age has nothing to do with maturity.Whether she can handle a child or not, will be proven when she gives birth.So leave the girl alone already.

it's definitely not fair to blame britney and jamie's mom for all of this. she probably wasn't the best mother in the history of the world, especially considering that she sold the story of her daughter's pregnancy to a magazine, but come on. sometimes what your kids do is just out of your hands. she can't stalk her daughter and make sure she doesn't have unprotected sex...

While a 16-year-old girl getting pregnant is certainly a poor situation, no matter how much money or family support the teen mom has, it's not the end of the world. Also, Lynn Spears is not the parenting antichrist. No matter how perfectly you raise your kids, if you allow them to make their own decisions, they will make mistakes, just like anyone else. Personally, I think kids SHOULD make their own decisions, and have to live with the consequences thereof. That's the route the entire SPears family has gone, and I don't think the results are to be blamed on one person.

I remember reading a couple of years ago that it was Brittneys fame that caused her parents to get a divorce. The article and news revealed her mother wanted to live the life off a famous and rich daughter, bei friends and party, where her father wanted to stay in their old world. I blame Lynn and Dina Lonan for their daughters messed up world. They put these girls in front of the camera to do these edgy roles and be the bread winner for the family. Britnay and Lindsey are great examples of how parents get caught up in the lime light of hollywood. Britnay's dad said he was disgusted when he can home and saw his then 16 year old daughter(Britney)laying in her living room floor in nothing but a panties and a bra for that rolling stone cover. I feel pretty sorry for the girls all they are looking for is love and someone to love them for who they are not what they are worth. Dina calls herself the white Oprah. They already proved she was never a Rockette like she claimed to be for so many years. She wants to be famous so bad she's hoping someone will let her have her own show. She's living in her life through her daughter. The parents all they do is party with their daughters has no boundaries for them and no rules because they (parents) are their managers they do not want to be cut off from the money so they never hear or say the words NO!!! I blame the moms for it all for these girls to grow up fast and support their families from leaching on to them and their money. I did hear Britney cut Lynn off so she's broke because her and JamieLynn were blowing her money like crazy. Lindsey is now suffering from a blow in the pocket becuse of everyone trying to make money off of her and her rehap stint. They need to be brought down to reality and see the real world! Hollywood is all fake! Demi Moore did it best when she left hollywood and went to Idaho to raise her kids!

Did everyone forget what it was like to be 16 and in love? Geez, get off Lynn's ass already. It doesn't matter if you have a curfew, b/c sex can happen before curfew is up... it didn't matter if Lynn discussed birth control methods with her, b/c in the heat of the moment the kid was gonna do what she wanted to do. Lynn's biggest flaw was allowing these girls to become famous at such a young age and it gave them too much power. It took them away from having a normal upbringing. But the fact is that this stuff happens to young girls all the time - doesn't matter how great a parent you are, children need to learn from their mistakes - you can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink it!

Seems most are missing the root cause here. Britney AND Jamie are to blame for their own actions and the results of those actions, but not for what sent them travelling that highway. I believe they both were and still are, seeking the love and attention they could not get from their own (pathetic) mother Lynne. THe girls were left to make their own (wrong) choices while mom was [pre] occupied with hawking them to the studios. It apparently has not changed.

It shouldn't be blamed on the Mom. It is hard for a Mom to take care of two Hollywood girls. And, Jamie Lynn shouldn't be put on so much pressure because Jamie's sister Britney, is supposed to be her role model. And Britney is has not been doing a great job on it. With all Britney's pregnancy and all her mess ups, Jamie Lynn is having a hard time. Jamie wasn't given a good role model, and now she's pregnant.

Ultimately parents can not control what there children do unless you lock them up 24/7. Children get pregnant early and children try to kill other children. It would be very hard to pin point the result on bad parenting, but if you show values, respect and love most children do continue to live by there example. I personally believe this whole story has been completely blown out of proportion; Jamie Lynn is neither the first nor the last to get pregnant at 16. The world is not coming to an end and to continue to talk about this for a week is just ridiculous.

I don't think its fair to blame it on the mom. I think it has more to do with the life that Jamie Lynne has been growing up in. All the media attention. Its sad that little girls are getting themselves into these types of situations. But the sad thing is, she isn't the first nor last 16 year old girl that will get pregnant. There are many parents who try their best to raise their kids with good morals, the bottom line is that eventually they will do as they please.

Yeah I think the majority of you njust... wow lol I don't understand is why adults suddenly becoming so naive? Zoey is a charter played in a show on TV, not a real person. JAMIE may be similar to her character but again, ZOEY isn't real. And everyone who says they should've used protection, etc. must be totally clueless seeing as people get pregnant even while on some sort of bc and/or using a condom. I know someone who got pregnant even though she used an IUD & someone else who got pregnant w/ her 4th yet had her tubes tied. I'm SURE there are a decent # of famous teens that have gotten pregnant but chose not to have the baby. Also, there's no reason to cancel her show, it's not as if next season she'll just get bigger & bigger.... & how do I know? Because They've already taped the entire next season which means she can do what she plans on doing which would be moving back to LA WITH Casey to have the baby & raise it around both sides of it's family. And ya know what? At least she didn't try to hide it, she came forward w/ the news in the beg. which takes alot of guts. I don't think she's going to be anything like her fk'ed up sister. I actually read that Jamie did not live with her boyfriend...she lived with Lynn in a condo. at any rate, Jamie Lynn made the choice to continue to go all the way with her boyfriend, Lynn did not force her to do that. Britney also has no room to talk as she is the one who shut her mother out long before it was all public. As for her career, I don't know what Jamie Lynn wanted, other than to be bigger than her sister star wise, and Britney has wanted to be a star since she was a child.Lynn obliged and this is is the result.

Jamie Lynn shouldn't have been allowed to live with her boyfriend, but when a 16 year old is determined to have her own way, no one is going to obstruct her. At the risk of alienating her second daughter, there probably wasn't much Lynn could've done about this. Jamie Lynn is earning a good living, has her own money and I predict has just made a crutial mistake in her career.
