Time for some rumor patrol! Despite the reports that started circulating this week,
Britney Spears is not dating her agent Jason Trawick!
A source tells Us Weekly, “They are absolutely, 100 percent not dating. He is her agent, and that is it.”
E! News had reported earlier in the week that Brit had secretly been stepping out with Jason, but the source tells Us Weekly that the two haven’t even gone on a date!
The rumor most likely started because Britney is never seen with guys anymore, so if the two were spotted, it was probably just a business meeting. We hardly think Jamie Spears is allowing Brit to step into the dating world quite yet. He’s still got a firm grip on her life!
Jason has been on the road with Brit for a few of her shows though. The source says, "Jason was on the road with Britney for three of her tour dates, but that is because he is close friends with her brother Bryan, and that's what agents do -- they support their clients. Any stories of them being together are completely and utterly made up."
"He has been her agent for four years, and they are very close friends. He gets on with her family, but there is absolutely categorically nothing romantic going on.”
Ok, we get it! They’re not a couple! But they would be sort of cute together. Brit would be better off dating someone completely out of the scene, so she’s not tempted to get reeled in like she did with Adnan.
