Britney Headed to Broadway?

Britney is headed to the big apple y'all! Word on the block (on Broadway Blvd actually) is that Brit is in talks to play Sandy in the stage version of "Grease."

A source tells British newspaper Metro, "The producers were bouncing around the idea of casting Britney in the role of Sandy.

"They're recasting the roles in July and they thought that Britney looked like a Sandy. She would be terrific."

A few years back, when Brit was still married to K-Fed, she was asked to do a Broadway show. But after charging up $25,000 in travel expenses to the show, she decided against it. At the time she said she didn't want to move to NYC because of her two boys. Wonder if she feels different about the move this time around? It sounds like a great career move though--if she can pull it off.

They been saying that she was going to play in Grease for years. They use to say that she was suppose to star in Grease 3 with then boyfriend Justin Timberlake. I think this rumor should be laid to rest once and for all, and then Please don't bring it up again. I also heard that K-fed is suppose to be in the play legally blonde. Some how I think these rumors are both false at least I hope so for people of NYC. I so would not want to live there.

So Mai Ling we can't comment about Britney unless we act like her publicist? Sorry, but I agree with the others. The old Britney could have done broadway, but the Britney today is a very sick woman. Even her attorneys said today in court she is still not able to handle her affairs. I'm not saying she won't be able to perform a concert here and there, but concert tours, broadway and long running Vegas shows like Celine Dion's, those days are over. Forget about showing up at the rehearsals, the stress of a show falling on her shoulders every night would be too much for her.
