Britney Furious Over Jamie Lynn's Pregnancy

Britney Spears may be all smiles for the camera, but sources close to the fallen pop star say she's furious over her little sister Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. Britney is also said to be upset over the fact that she was one of the last people to find out it, especially because Kevin knew before her.

“Britney felt betrayed and left out when Jamie Lynn did not come to her first,” say a family insider.

“Their relationship is estranged,” says the source. “Jamie Lynn does not recognize Britney as the sister she grew up with, so she has gone to her friends, her boyfriend and her mom when she needs someone.”

“It is mostly by Britney's choice,” says the insider. “She is so self-absorbed in her own life that she has forgotten what is important in life, like her family."

Although Britney is upset, she's still attempting to be a supportative older sister. She was photographed last night at a souvenir shop picking up some onesies and baby gifts, presumably for her sister.

Tasha you are right. Its funny how they were suppose to have had that big reunion but you never saw Lynn Spears around Britney at all. And x17 says that JLS and Brit has always been close even during the reunion, but if that was the case, JLS would had told brit about the pregnancy then because that was just in Octoberish and thus she would had been pregnant during that time.

I think that reunion was just a sham. Remember Brit wanted Lynn to be appointed a court monitor and the judge said no. I think after that, Brit had no more use for her mom, and she went back home to Louisiana. Like Hollyscoop said, it's all about Britney.

You're right Tasha. I forgot about Brit wanting Lynn to be the court appointed monitor. Thank goodness that didn't happen. TMZ is reporting that JLS is further along than 12 wks and I am starting to think that is true because you normally don't have an ultrasound before your 15th week or is it 18th week--I forget at time--but that way they can view the baby and all and the way JLS talked about how much she could see on the ultrasound really sounds like they were able to get a good visual picture of the baby.

Jamie Lynn Spears has been largely ignored by family members and friends…while older sister Britney has been on a spoiled brat fueled temper tantrum for years…bankrolled by hundreds of millions of dollars and encouraged by the accompanying press, and the almost non-stop focus of attention showered on Britney by her family members and family friends, etc., thanks to her selfishly dramatic antics. There is a sense that she is trying to live hard and fast, fearing tomorrow isn’t promised. Well, that is a flawed view, especially if tomorrow does come…and you have destroyed your life, or that of others. The divorce of Britney and Jamie Lynn’s parents hasn’t helped matters any…and Britney has emotionally pulled away from everyone in her life, including her baby sister…thus, leading Jamie Lynn into a pregnancy–one designed to shout out to her family, friends and business associates: “Hey, I’m alive!!!
