Despite several reports that
Britney Spears is now dating
Benji Madden, she has not picked up on
Paris Hilton’s sloppy seconds.
In Touch started the rumor, saying that the two recently shared dinner together at an LA hotel, and have been seen several time since. Their unnamed source says, "They’ve been on a few dates. She appears to like Benji a lot, and he seems to really like her."
The In Touch spy reported that Larry Rudolph got together with Brit’s dad to make a list of potential boyfriends, and Benji was on it, along with Chace Crawford, Jesse Metcalf, and Michael Phelps. What, is that the thing to do these days? Make a list of Plan B boyfriends? Jennifer Aniston has started a trend!
But it’s all just a rumor, which we figured was the case. Britney’s publicist Holly Shakoor issued a statement to E! News today saying, "The claims made by In Touch are completely false. There is not an ounce of truth to any of it."
We knew this wasn’t true right from the beginning. Plus Benji and Paris have still been
spotted together, despite their recent breakup. Paris’ claws would be out in an instant if any of this was true as well.
But we still do want Brit to find a new man! Enough time has passed for her to move on. We just think she shouldn’t go off that fake list. Chace, Jesse, and Michael are soooo not her types!
