Avril Lavigne Slams Britney

Wannabe rock star Avril Lavigne is lashing out against pop princess Britney Spears. Avril believes Britney had a meltdown because she is too "weak" to deal with fame.

She said, "What's happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person. If you want a piece of this business you have to be able to deal with it. You can't complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness because that's the job."

Sure paps snap Avril's pic here and there but I highly doubt they stalk her every move like they do to Britney Spears.

Im fromt the UK this was froma popular show called T4 which is a music show basically. this guy is hilarious he just takes the piss and NO ONE gets him apart from british artists. LOVE IT! I am really disappointed in Avril if she did say that. She has always brought up Britney Spears, or maybe it is the reporters that bring Britney Spears up to her. The reason being because Britney was her biggest rival, if you will, when she was breaking into the scene. She does not know Britney or what she is going through in her marriage or with her children. Yeah Britney went a little crazy, but maybe Avril would too if she had two kids and her husband was a loser (but maybe not cut off her hair). She would not know, because she has not lived Britney's life. I think it would be best for her to opt not to reply to the questions about, or bring up Britney. I can say that she could have lightened up a little in that interview though. I am a fan of hers and even I was like, dang girl crack a smile or something!
