Not only is Britney Spears mom Lynne Spears writing a book, but there is someone else writing a book about Britney as well.
Biographer Ian Halperin is reportedly writing an expose on the life of Britney Spears. Halperin apparently spent 18 months as an undercover paparazzi following Britney Spears. He got close to Britney and her inner circle at the time and it’s safe to say her life was pretty sad at the time.
Halperin claims that Britney’s problems stemmed from drugs and the douchebags she had surrounded herself with at the time. He says, "I saw a lot. I partied with her and was able to really monitor what type of stuff she was using. It's very concerning.
"(But) the book is mainly about her handlers, how sleazy and destructive they are toward her. The people around her are like vultures."
The journalist insists that this book is not to talk smack about Britney. He says that he thinks he spent enough time with her to realize that she is a really good person and that "She's actually a very caring mom."
Thankfully, Britney’s family really stepped up when they needed to and it seems like all the toxic people in her life have disappeared. Let’s just hope things stay the same when Britney’s dad is not conservator anymore and he moves out of her house.
