Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick got engaged last night and what do you really know about the guy other than "He's Britney Spears Boyfriend?"
Other than his appearance as her "love interest" in her music video for "Criminal," nobody knows that much about the mysterious and bearded Jason Trawick.
Here's 5 things you may not have known about Jason Trawick
He's an agent: Jason Trawick was an agent at William Morris Endeavor, and represented Britney beginning in 2006. He left the company in May, but before he did he represented clients like Taylor Swift, Paris Hilton, and Hilary and Haylie Duff.
He's got his own company: After Trawick left WME he formed his own company called Famos LLC, which supposedly promotes musicians with a strong digital and online presence. All we know is that his company currently reps some aspects of Britney's career and also manages Dave Stewart and Mick Jagger. But let's be real, I think his real career is being Mr. Britney Spears.
He's old fashioned: Trawick reportedly asked Britney's dad for permission before popping the question and now that he's soon to be her husband, Britney wont have to rely on her dad as her conservator. So, in a weird twist, Trawick will be her husband but also kind of her protecter, which is weird, let's just forget about that last part. Let's just focus on the fact that Trawick asked Jamie Spears for permission to wed his daughter, because that's so sweet and old-fashioned.
He's 40!: Sure, anyone with knowledge of how to do a basic google search could have figured that out, but his birthday was last night and in order to celebrate his own birthday, he proposed to Britney. Talk about a self-less guy. It was his night turning the big 4-0 and he gave Britney the best gift of all, making her an honest woman.
He's a mediator: Trawick is reportedly the one responsible for reuniting Britney with her parents and her former manager Larry Rudolph. Britney and her mom had a falling out back in 2007 when Britney wrote her a scathing letter that basically said, "Stay away from my kids." Britney also reunited with her former manager Larry Rudolph in 2008 after not speaking with him when she was angered that he suggest she go to rehab. Trawick reportedly helped mediate and get Britney back in contact with all these people.
