Britney Spears has got a lot on her plate… She’s got to look good, she’s got to say words sometimes, and she’s got to pretend to pay attention. Pressure from all these responsibilities can sure get stressful.
Luckily, “The X Factor” producers have her back. Reportedly, the higher-ups of the show have a plan to hypnotize Britney as a means of taking the edge off.
A source tells the UK’s Daily Star that “producers have suggested she has hypnotic therapy to keep her calm and focused.”
After wrapping Kansas City auditions up last weekend, Spears has been spotted out and about with a dressed down look in and around Los Angeles. She’s been spending time with her family to de-stress about the show, but apparently that’s not enough.
A hypnotherapist would of course be in addition to her spiritual adviser, which is reportedly specified in her contract right next to Snickers bars and Diet Coke.
According to various reports, Spears is being paid on an episode-to-episode basis, so if it all becomes too much, Simon can cut her at any point. If she somehow manages to cling on for dear life throughout season 2 as a judge, the efforts will score her a cool $15 million.
According to a website run by Dr. Bruce Eimer, a Board Certified & Licensed Clinical Psychologist, hypnosis can be used for weight loss, physical pain, phobias, quitting smoking, depression, among other things…
We reached out to a rep for "X Factor' who tells Hollyscoop that it's completely not true.
