The second episode of the new season of “Glee” comes with some high school-fueled trash talking.
“Britney 2.0” promised to bring back the Britney Spears excitement. What fans didn’t see coming is the subtle, mean-spirited undertones that seemed to poke fun of the “Hit Me Baby One More Time” hitmaker.
Along with highlighting some of Brit’s biggest hits, the show also made a deliberate point to showcase her public breakdown.

The Britney Smears theme continued throughout the episode, with refereneces to umbrella paparazzi and Chris Crocker.

To make matters worse, the episode followed Thursday night’s episode of “The X Factor” on FOX. So, Britney fans that stayed tuning in were treated to the anti-Britney propaganda.

“Britney’s manager, Larry, is livid,” said Bush. “Yeah, he’s not happy.”
