Bristol's Last Dance: Death Threats and Heightened Security

Bristol Palin has so many haters, that now it’s even affecting her partner Mark Ballas, who’s one of the nicest guys on the planet!

According to TMZ, Bristol and Mark have been receiving death threats.

Dancing With the Stars has hired a whole bunch of security just to be on the safe side. The last thing they need is a dead dancer on their hands!

DWTS Pro Dancers Not a Fan of Bristol Palin

The death threats started last week, and the FBI is currently investigating a “fan” letter sent to Bristol on Friday. A crew member reportedly opened the letter and white powder fell out. Turns out it was talcum powder, but it’s still being investigated.

Show execs reportedly had a talk with Ballas to stop tweeting, because they thought it was making people hate him/Bristol even more. He wrote last week, “We have no control over the results we just try out best and work hard. So you can't be frustrated at me or the results, it's just a dance Show.. Not that big of a deal to cause all the hatred. It's out of my hands guys don't you all understand that??? I'm paid to teach and Dance... And that is what I do and will continue to do.. Thank you to all the supporters...”

After the “talk,” Ballas then updated his Twitter, saying, “Taking a break from Twitter till the seasons over.. Thank you to all the supporters and fans. We love u. I'll be back soon....”

The show peeps have definitely thought ahead too—the finalists are all headed to New York City after the finale, and Bristol and Mark’s interviews have been moved to an inside and secure location, rather than in Times Square.

A source close to the show said, "Everyone is genuinely worried. This is a dance competition, and it's just gotten crazy."

This is crazy! It’s a freaking dance competition! Definitely not worth shooting your TV over!
