Bristol Palin Discusses Feud With Meghan McCain
Maybe it’s just me, but I think if you don’t remember 90210, and you stopped playing with Barbies less than ten years ago, you shouldn’t be allowed to write a memoir.

But the publishers disagree, and Bristol Palin has written: Not Afraid of My Life: My Journey So Far. In her book, Palin bashes fellow right-wing offspring Meghan McCain.

Palin, 20, says that when she first met Senator John McCain’s daughter, it was just before he announced Sarah Palin as his running mate, and Meghan “ignored us during the entire visit.” Palin continues that she “had a sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back.”

“Everytime I saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining.”

While the idea of two political offspring being catty towards each other sounds thrilling, I’m pretty sure the Palins are the type of paranoid friends you have that always think someone is talking sh-t about them when, in actuality, no one really cares.

McCain responded to the attack by tweeting a YouTube video from 2008, which sows her with Palin’s daughter smiling on a couch. “I feel like my heart is going to explode with pride for her,” McCain says about her dad’s running mate choice in the clip.

But McCain isn’t totally innocent. In an interview on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, McCain took a shot at Palin:

“I was not on my best behavior the whole time. I wasn’t always acting like I should. But when you’re sent to an image consultant and it's said that you look like a stripper and you talk bad and you're hurting the campaign, when there's a pregnant teen there, it does a little bit to your self-esteem.”

Don’t fight, girls. You can both be bad for your parents’ careers.
