Bret Michaels Discharged, Expected to Make 100% Recovery

Bret Michaels’ physician Dr. Joseph Zabramski just held a press conference to discuss his current condition. Zabramski is one of the best neurologists, and works at the highly regarded Barrow Neeurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

Thankfully, the information was mostly good news! The doctor told reporters that Bret remains in critical condition as of now after having a subarachnoid hemorrhage, and they are watching him very closely for any changes that may be occur to him.

He did mention that Bret was lucky enough to not have to have a neurological surgery following his brain hemorrhage. The cause of the hemorrhage is still unknown at this point.

Zabranzki says Bret has severe back pain, and has been having spasms, which also trigger headaches. He is, however, able to walk on his own, but must have someone by his side for safety reasons. Zambraski described Michaels as “extremely lucky,” and said, “right now he should be celebrating.”

The doctor did not comment on Bret’s whereabouts now, but did say he’s no longer staying at St. Joseph’s. Michaels is expected to make a “100% full recovery” and will be able to resume all normal activities.

Congraulations, Bret! Celebrate! But maybe just with some water for now!
