Good news about Bret Michaels! He’s still in intensive care at a hospital in Arizona, but he seems to be doing a little better. Michaels’ father Wally Sychak spoke with Extra this morning, and talked about his son’s improvements.
He said, “They say he's moving his arms and hands. The best as they could expect at this time.”
Sychak also said he spoke with Bret over the phone. "Well, the fact that he was talking to me, and giving me information, I thought that was great,” said dad. “I understood that this was a terrible ordeal that he was going through. We're not getting information right now. I guess no news is good news.”
Sychak added that Bret sounded “a little slow, but fine. He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way."
We just got word from Bret Michaels’ rep on his current condition. Earlier today, his father said he was able to communicate with his son, and that he was speaking, albeit slowly, and able to move his limbs.
Now Bret’s rep has released a statement saying his client is now in stable condition. "He's still in the ICU, but he's stable,” the rep said.
