Secretary Denies Breaking Up Shania's Wedding

The longtime secretary and house manager of Shania Twain and Mutt Lange is caught in the middle of their divorce because there are rumors that she broke up their marriage. But Marie-Anne Thiebaud, who is retired and no longer works for the couple, is speaking out in her own defense.

When contacted by E!, Marie said, "I know what you're ringing to ask me about. But when marriages break up, they break up for all sorts of complicated reasons—it's never just one reason. And those reasons should be kept private. If you're looking for a person that broke up a marriage, then you have the wrong person. I'm not that person."

Well then how does she know so much about their relationship still? She made it clear that she doesn't work for them anymore. Maybe this has been going on a long time, and they finally decided to end things.
