Saddam Hussein Hang Man?

Breaking News!

Former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has been executed by hanging for crimes against humanity. The death sentence was carried out just before 6am local time at a secure facility in northern Baghdad and witnessed by a representative of the Iraqi prime minister and a Sunni Muslim cleric. Saddam refused to wear the customary hood during his execution. Hussein was sentenced to death by an Iraqi court on November 5 after being tried for the 1982 killings of 148 Shias in the town of Dujail.

It hasn’t been 24 hours since the death of this former dictator and he is already been turned into an action figure. Complete with a hangman's noose tight around his neck. The “Doll of Hussein”, comes wearing a 'Dope on a Rope' t-shirt. The doll is available online at herobuilders.com. What do you guys think is this doll funny or repulsive?

Go through Hollyscoop's posts and see how many names you can identify that didn't have proper parenting when they grew up. Or maybe much easier, just count the celebs who did have responsible parents.

I think the doll is repulsive, specially because of the fact that Hussein did not get a chance to finish his trails. His killing was rushed!

The shirt is corny. I think its poor taste for people to try to profit of this guys death. Sure he was an evil dictator who killed lots of people, tortured lots of others, oppressed many many others...but come on guys. I can't wait for the completed hanging video to show up on YouTube though.

I find it repulsive that anyone can celebrate the murder of ANY human being. This man was evil, but we are not much better when we mock the death of others.

Hey Joe, maybe you would feel differently if he had killed and tortured someone you loved...altho the doll needs to go, no one should profit from this terrible man.

Is this a ENTERTAINMENT blog?? Is that ENTERTAINMENT??

NW Reader
Why can't an entertainment blog have news? I'm glad they ran the post. I for one think the doll is repulsive and, like several readers, I never find humor in someone's death. Now, we just need to go after the criminals in our Administration.

yes, it's still not funny to make a joke upon somebody's death eventhough he was a brutally evil man..i need to state there's no fair play in this world, since 2003 bush had lead the killing of more than 600000 civilianz in iraq and as we speak now, there more troops be killed there, sadam had paid his action.. and when will bush pay his action? it's even more ashame, eventhough in middle east they still allow a death sentence, it's not appropriate to do an execution in a holly day (hajj festival) of their religion.

jafar
Coco I agree with U they shouldnt have done it during the hajj festival, they should have waited. Saddam got death sentence uder the rules that he himslef put in place.

It would have saved everyone a lot of time and avoided a lot of BS if the soldier who found Saddam in the spider hole had just tossed in a grenade.

And that is why we're in America and not the Middle East.

I am not a supporter of Hussein however I am appalled that anyone would post this. How absolutely tacky and disgusting. Clearly the man was frightened-anyone who gets a laugh from this man's death is the perfect example of what is wrong people today. Shame shame on all of you.

One more thing.....all you Bush haters....who do you think caught Hussein? Gee whiz....it was George W. Bush!!! So SUCK IT UP!!!! By the way, there hasn't been a draft since Vietnam. Our soldiers are there because they CHOSE to be and for all you idiots who say the Bush is "killing our troops" please go learn something....Al Queda and the Iraqi's are fighting and killing our troops. That is what WAR is.

I am not a supporter of hussein, nor am I an american either... but I think this whole situation is repulsive. Having someones hanging be broadcasted around the world is of "poor taste" to any news that did so. Death is not something that should be taken lightly, or the opposite. These pictures are offensive.

HEY-all you Bush haters....who do you think caught Hussein? It was Bush! Our soldiers are there because they CHOSE to be. I would love for my family members to come back from the war-but they are doing what they love and providing you and me with FREEDOM. If you don't like it, get the hell out of our country.

At this stage of the war, anyone that actually thinks our troops are in Iraq to protect our freedoms are either naive or chooses to ignore the TRUE facts. Our freedoms were NEVER at risk to begin with. I agree with other post, Bush is the one that should be investigated and held accountable for all the loss of innocent American and Iraqi life.

First, the reason we are in war is to fight for our freedem. If we let down now then they will attac us. Face it, our troops are there for us so that 9/11 will not happen agian..
