Bradley obviously didn’t see The Hunger Games, telling Hollyscoop that he knew very little about Jennifer before they were set to share the screen together in the Silver Linings, but was pleasantly surprised to learn how well they got along.
“I saw [Jennifer in] The Beaver and X-Men: First Class, and that’s it. But then I talk to her on the phone, as she was already cast, and we got along great on the phone,” Bradley told us at the 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala.
“I thought, wow this woman is… there's something really interesting [about her],” Bradley tells us.
He joked that they had no choice but to get along because Day 1 of filming was a ballroom dance scene between the two of them.
“The first day I met her on the set we were learning how to dance, we do a dance, a choreographed dance routine in the movie and so we got to know each other really fast,” says Bradley.
Bradley was being honored at the Hollywood Film Awards for Best Actor, alongside other honorees like Robert De Niro (Supporting Actor), Amy Adams (Supporting Actress), The Cast of Argo, and Judd Apatow (Comedy), to name a few.
