She’s the girl that everyone’s talking about right now.
Along with a case of the flu, Jennifer Lawrence went home with a trophy after Sunday Night’s Golden Globe ceremony. But it wasn’t just the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that was giving her the spotlight.
Hollyscoop caught up with Jennifer’s Silver Linings Playbook costar Bradley Cooper at the Golden Globes red carpet.
“I didn't have any preconceived ideas, so there wasn’t really any, you know what I mean?” said Cooper on meeting Lawrence for the first time. The actor had his mother with him on the carpet as his good luck charm. “I just got to know her.”
It’s easy to see why a collaboration with Lawrence, who has had the pleasure of working with Hugh Jackman, Elizabeth Banks and Jodie Foster throughout her skyrocketing career, comes with a little uncertainty.
In addition to her award-winning on-screen appearances, the actress has shamelessly admitted to some bizarre behavior in the past.
In November, she told “The Tonight Show” host, Jay Leno, that she stopped by a senior citizen’s strip club on an off day in Atlanta while filming for The Hunger Games sequel.
“We weren’t shooting, I just went,” she said. “I got a lap dance from Little Bo Peep, who’s very bossy.”
And then there was the, “Is that a sex swing?!” first words that popped out of her mouth upon meeting Hunger Games costar Woody Harrelson in his trailer.
Apparently whatever she’s doing is working, though. Lawrence earned the Golden Globe in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category for her work in Linings, her first ever honor and second nomination by the HFPA.
Linings is also nominated for eight Oscars, including the big award for Best Motion Picture of the Year.
When asked who he’d like to see go home with the big honor, Cooper joked: “Well I'd like 'Silver Lining' to win.”
