Talented. Hot. Philanthropic.

After Brad Pitt’s brief stint in those bizarre Chanel No. 5 ads, the actor has bounced back to the guy we know and love, he’s just donated $100,000 to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) which is campaigning for marriage equality in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington State.

Brad has always been a huge supporter of marriage equality. Although he and Angie got engaged this summer, which Brad says was because their kids wanted to see them married, Brangelina said they were holding out until everyone could get married.

We’re not going to hold him to that promise, if his kids want their parents to get hitched, let them do it, we’re not gonna be like “but you said you’d wait for the gays to get married too!”

So Brad just gave a chunk of money to HRC and sent them an email that said, “It's unbelievable to me that people's lives and relationships are literally being voted on in a matter of days. If you're like me, you don't want to have to ask yourself on the day after the election, what else could I have done?"

Of course, the HRC is very happy to have A-lister status now thanks to Brad’s contribution, the president of the organization just said that Brad’s donation “will deliver vital resources into these campaigns. We’re proud to be working with him as we show that fundamental fairness will win at the ballot box.”

Angelina is saving the third world countries, Brad is working for equality in the states. With these two, who needs a president!? I’m just kidding, you have to vote next week, no seriously, don’t forget to vote.

Last year Brad spoke out about legalizing same sex marriage, “It is each American’s Constitutional right to marry the person they love, no matter what state they inhabit. No state should decide who can marry and who cannot.”
