How Brangelina Spent New Years

This New Years Brangelina took a break from their humanitarian work and did a little R & R. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie jet-set from Costa Rica to Panama city for some sightseeing. The couple hit a souvenir shop, a colonial neighborhood, and of course, the Panama Canal.

The couple's visit to the city was low key and some residents didn’t believe their eyes. According to the newspaper Panama America, one resident shouted to Pitt, "Are you Brad Pitt?" and the actor replied with a smile: "Sometimes."

A day earlier Brangelina dropped in on a former U.S. military base and the construction site of Panama's new Biodiversity Museum, which will trace the country's natural history and include a botanical garden, according to the Associated Press reports. Pitt wanted to visit the museum since his good friend Los Angeles based architect Frank Gehry designed it. Looks like its going to be another year of globe trotting for this couple.
