Brad Pitt says that he and Angelina Jolie have blocked their names on their home computers so that the kids can’t google their parents online.
I can’t even imagine what goes on in the Jolie-Pitt household.
Brad Pitt: Maddox! Did I catch you googling me again?!
Maddox: But Daaaaddd! I just couldn’t remember your characters name in ‘Fight Club’!
Brad Pitt: It was Tyler Durden! You could have asked me! Now go to your room and think about what you did. You’re grounded!
Sadly, the Jolie-Pitt kids will never know what shows up when you do a google search for their parents names.
“On all the kids’ computers we had our names blocked,” Pitt tells German magazine Bild, “They can’t Google their mom and dad. I don’t want to make myself dependent on what other people think.”
Too bad for the kids. They’ll never discover the “simplybrad.com” fansite, or even the fact that Wikipedia describes him as “one of the world’s most attractive men.” Sorry Zahara, you’ll never truly know your parents.
As for Brad and Angie themselves, they don’t google their names either.
“We don’t even notice all the noise,” he says.
That’s probably because they live in a castle/mansion that’s most likely reinforced in an orb of sound proof celebrity protectant seal.
He may be paranoid about the internet, but Brad isn’t stressing about his age. He’s almost 50 but says it’s not a problem.
“I love becoming an older man. Your thoughts get clearer,” reveals the 48-year-old actor.
Your thoughts may get clearer, but your walking doesn’t. Speaking about his recent “cane stint,” Brad says he was suffering from “balance problems.”
“I was getting all lopsided,” he tells Access Hollywood, “So, I’m trying to balance out now.”
