Brad Pitt Fires Publicist

Brad Pitt is taking a page out of Angelina Jolie's book. Jolie has learned how to manipulate the public well enough to never hire a publicist and Brad thinks he can learn a thing or two from his ladylove.

Brad has apparently fired his longtime publicist Cindy Guagenti because he "wants to not deal with media." Um...good luck with that!

Guagenti, who has repped Pitt since his "Thelma & Louise" days, said, "He is on hiatus."

In the past Brangelina has released statements about their family and kids through Cindy. She basically became Jolie's rep by default.

Well now he's just gone crazy too. Is he nuts!! He has had MORE media coverage since he's been with Angie, because that's the way Angie wanted it. You rarely EVER heard anything about Jen and Brad when they were together because Jen is soooo private. As soon as he and Angie were together, that's ALL we hear about now "BRANGELINA" (BARF). She's always looking for ways to belittle or hurt Jen through the media. It's obvious and he LETS her get away with it. What he should do is grow some balls and stop his "ladylove"from opening her mouth, not fire his publisist.Just another example of how she can be so manipulative.She's got him wrapped around her little finger. He'll sacrifice anything for her. His marriage,his dignity,his looks, his career, and now his publisist. What's next Brad? Is there anything left? Wake up and smell the coffee buddy. Quit being such an idiot for a whore.

Cindy wasn't fired. She quit because she didn't want to be part of the circus freak show any longer.

That makes sense, since Cindi has become useless to Brad. The tabloids dont believe what she says anyway, and she is not close to Brad and Angelina anymore, she doesnt know anything about them more than what we know from the media.

Gretchen, you are kidding right? Brad Pitt has lost everything?? I don't know what rock you have been living but the man seems happy as a clam, his career is the best it's ever been and he's getting lots of serious roles not just for his good looks. He's found a family and has a purpose in life with charity, etc. I wish we were all that fortunate. As for the publicity - it's demand and supply baby. The public is interested in Brangelina like it or not, the tabs make money off them and would follow them everywhere, whether they want it or not. If you want to change that - simply don't read stories about them and comment abou them. That just shows you are interested otherwise you wouldn't bother... Be honest...

No kat, I am not kidding!! Since they have been together the only movie that did any sales at all was the Mr Mrs. Smith movie they did together. The ONLY reason that movie had decent sales was because people were curious about the hype, and they certainly milked it for all it was worth. After that movie BOTH of their careers have FAILED tremendously. They may be able to GET big parts, but they can't pull them off, and people don't like them for the way they so publicly became "Brangelina". I know I ,and a lot of my freinds WILL NOT support them by giving any of our hard earned $$ to them by watching their movies. As far as reading or commenting about them. They put themselves out their to be talked about, and I enjoy it, and I have been nothing but HONEST in my comments. You are on this site for the same reason all of are....BE HONEST!!!

since they got together brad did 3 movies (babel;jesse james,ocean 3)the only one that bomb was jesse james but got amazing reviews and angelina did 3 movies(a mighty heart ,good sheppard, beowulf) and the only one that bomb was a mighty heart but again had amazing reviews. BRAD is in better place,dont feel sorry for him!

Of course that plastic lipped freak wants to get rid of everyone in his camp so she can have complete control. And he's dumb enough to let it happen. Geez - first Jolie pulls the plug on his marriage, then his friendships and now his publicist! It's amazing how brainwashed he's become by her lifestyle and way of thinking. This guy is walking around aimlessly with his "tribe", has no roots, lives a nomad existance and is basically cutting himself off from Hollywood. Atleast now maybe he'll move out of the country. He has made some sh*tty decisions since doing Mr. & Mrs. Smith.... but this might take the cake! I'm sure this is the reason why they've never made an announcement about her pregnancy and recently Cindy said she knew nothing about the apparent "wedding". She was probably let go even before that story broke.

Jenn, Babel didn't do well SALES wise\ and Oceans 307 he was not the LEAD actor, Casey Affleck (new comer) did better in Jesse james where Brad was the lead (yet shitty sales). Angie BARELY had a role in both Beowulf and Good Shepard, She can't take any credit there. The one movie where she was the lead in A mighty heart, acting and sales SUCKED. NONE of there movies have done well since they have officially become "Brangelina", and my guess is they have committed career suicide just to get into each others pants. Hope it was worth it. The ONLY place they are popular are tabloids and these sites and it's most certainly NOT because of their movies.

Gretchen you're right and the Oscars completely ignored her performance in Mighty, which speaks volumes about how Hollywood feels about her. Their popularity is based on their "celebrity" not their talent. Sadly their children are continual props in their efforts to stay relevant with the media. He too is a prop in her strategy to climb to the top of heap. He just can't see it. You reap what you sow man. God bless them.

You are certainly entitled to your opinions, as I am. However, at least my opinions have merit and are based on public knowledge and reports. What do you base your opinions on?

God Pitt is looking so old! I would have to agree with gretchen on her opinions. Pitt has not done a movie worth writing home about for some time. He used to be in some really good movies but he is losing his appeal. I guess this is what happens when you think you are picking "greener pastures". It is not looking to green right now for Pitt.
