Brad Pitt Donates Money to Missouri University

Brad Pitt and his brother Doug have donated $600,000 to Drury University in their childhood city of Springfield in order to help out their sporting arena's green credentials.

Thanks to their generous donation, the O'Reilly Family Event Center earned a Gold Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design (LEED) certification, making it the first arena in the U.S. to land the eco-friendly title.

And that's not all! Thanks to the donation, school officials have renamed the court of the arena after Brad and Doug's father, William A. Pitt.

The building now features "low-flow water fixtures, a dedicated recycling area and a solar-reflective roof and pavement materials."

It had been a while since we've heard any donations coming from the Brangelina camp, so its really great that he teamed up with his brother for this generous gift!
