Brad Pitt spent the weekend in Vegas celebrating Britney Spears' engagement. Oh, wait, it was his birthday? I guess that's cool, too.
On the eve of his 48th birthday, Brad Pitt took his partner, Angelina Jolie, and their six kids to the Cirque de Soleil Michael Jackson: THE IMMORTAL World Tour show on Saturday.
The family headed to the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, where they sat in the second row.
A source told Us Weekly: "The artists were pleasantly surprised by this unannounced visit." Another source said: "They had great seats, sitting right beside the stage. They really seemed to enjoy the show. The performers didn't know they were there and a few of them recognized them while they were on stage, so it was pretty exciting."
Exciting? That sounds terrifying. Imagine being at work and then realizing super celebs Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are watching your every move. If there were ever a time for stage fright to kick in, I'd think that would be it.
Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina don't appear to be slowing down, despite hinting at retirement. Recently, Pitt threatened to quit acting and go into retirement by the time he turns 50. Jolie explained of his comment:
"We were both racing to see which one of us gets to retire first." She added that he probably wouldn't quit his acting career when he turns 50.
"Whoever is home tends to be the happier one," Jolie said on an episode of Anderson with Anderson Cooper. "Because we get to play with the kids while the other one is out earning the money."
