Brad Pitt Asked to Run for Mayor of New Orleans

Brad Pitt has pledged so much time and money into helping rebuild New Orleans that residences of the city are now calling on the actor to take office.

Brad and Angelina Jolie have been part time residents in New Orleans since purchasing a home there in 2007.

And since then Brad has worked hard to rebuild the city and even built eco friendly homes for the homeless.

Speaking to The Mirror, resident Thomas Bayer confirmed that the city's locals wanted the actor to stand for office.

"We need outside help getting the city fixed - Brad can get that done," he explained.
