Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield have a lot of celebrating to do after The Social Network debuted at #1 making $23 million in its opening weekend.
That's not the only reason the boys should be celebrating. This movie is getting a lot of Oscar buzz. Yup, the oldies over at the Academy are even digging the film about friendship and betrayal.
Justin Timberlake has made one heck of a transition from music to acting. Just last week, he said that he won't be heading to the studio anytime soon. JT has found his calling in acting. How many talents can one person have?
Below is the top 10 grossing movies this weekend:

Jen's latest flick, The Switch bombed at the theaters on its opening weekend raking in a measly $8.1 million. Sad.
Jen has been working endlessly to promote the flick, but it didn't seem to do the work. People still didn't care to see her on the big screen. Is Jen losing her mojo? Sure looks that way!
It's pretty bad when a movie titled "Vampires Suck" makes more money at the box office. The Twilight spoof came in at # 2 with $12.2 million.
One person people were excited to see back on the big screen was Sylvester Stallone. The The Expendables took the top spot at $16.5 million.
The Switch is definitely more of a DVD movie rather than a movie you would pay $13 to see at the theaters.

According to the Associated Press, Angie's new movie earned an estimated $36.5 million in its opening weekend. Leo's 'Inception' made approximately $43.5 million in its second weekend. The thriller has made $143.7 million in just 10 days.
Both Inception and Salt have been getting amazing reviews from critics and $36.5 million is actually a good opening weekend.
"What the movie really has going for it just a kick-ass performance by Angelina Jolie," Rory Bruer, head of distribution for Sony told the AP.
Angelina's performance is reportedly very inspiring and that's probably the reason she made a whopping $20 million for the flick.
Did you guys see Salt over the weekend? What did you think?

Leonardo DiCaprio stars in the sci-fi thriller and when Hollyscoop spoke to him about what attracted him to the film, he told us: “I chose this role because Chris Nolan is a visionary and he has been able to pull off incredibly complicated plot structures in the past with films like Insomnia and Momento and this is the great highbred of everything he has learned with “Dark Knight.”
He went on to praise Nolan saying, “This is going to be a tour de Force with him as far as directing goes. He has combined everything in one. People are going to be blown away.”
Twitter world was buzzing over ‘Inception’ all weekend. Below are some comments Hollyscoop fans left on Twitter after watching the movie.
melowens says: ‘Inception’ enraptures a true Hollywood film:questions, excitement and most of all 148 mins of GREAT ENTERTAINMENT & some Leo D
TeDeeBeee says: If Christopher Nolan asked me to be his baby mamma, I totally would. That's how much I loved Inception.

'Despicable Me' opened at the top of the box office with an estimated $60.1 million this weekend. That's a lot of money!
Despicable Me was the first 3-D animated movie from Universal Pictures and we're sure they are gonna make many more now that they know it's box office gold.
"Thirty (million) would have been a win for the studio — because it's a new creative idea, we really didn't know what we had, so we backed in saying $30 (million)," said Nikki Rocco, head of distribution for Universal. "I would never have said $50 million-plus."
The movie stars Steve Carell as the voice of Gru, Russell Brand, Jason Segel and Julie Andrews.
"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," fell down one spot taking the number two spot at the box office with with $33.35 million. Eclipse made a total of $237 million during its first 12 days.
July 6, 2010

The movie made an estimated $121.4 million from Wednesday to Friday, reports distributor Summit Entertainment.
The six-day total brought in a whopping $198.9 million.
Although it did really well, it did not break the box office records. Spider-Man 2 earned $180 million in its first six days in 2004 on Independence Day.
The first installment of Twilight brought in $88 million and New Moon raked in $179 million in its first six days.
Judging by initial estimates, Eclipse would take the number 3 spot of highest six-day openers. The Dark Knight had brought in $222 million and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made $215 million.

"This was the worst opening for a Cruise action movie in 20 years," an industry insider tells Popeater. "I just don't see how even the eerily eternally optimistic Tom can see this as anything but very bad news, maybe even the end of Tom's long career."
Is Tom Cruise Losing His Movie Mojo?
At one point Tom was guaranteed to be a box office hit, but these days he can’t seem to draw a crowd.
His last few movies such as 'Lion For Lambs' and 'Valkyrie,' have been box office flops and ‘Knight and Day’ was no different.
“People have turned on the once beloved actor and don't want to spend two hours with him anymore," one producer said. "I have never in my years in biz seen such venom for an actor. Tom has become the poster child of everything creepy. After this weekend he must be worried that his career is over."
Tom Cruise is a superstar, but for some strange reason people don’t enjoy watching him in movies anymore. Maybe when he reprises his role as Les Grossman people will fall in love with him again.
