Bobby Brown married his fiancee/manager Alicia Etheredge on Monday.
People magazine is reporting that the ceremony took place in Hawaii less than 24 hours after Brown performed there with New Edition (yes, they’re still touring; no, we don't know why either).
The two got engaged in 2010 when Brown proposed to Etheredge on stage to a sold-out New Edition crowd (yeah, they were touring then too). And it’s Etheredge whom Brown credits with helping him heal post his highly publicized divorce from Whitney Houston.
The ceremony comes four months after Houston's death via accidental overdose.
While Brown's older children (pre-Whitney) and his three-year-old son with Etheredge were on hand for the celebration, Bobbi Kristina, the daughter he shared with Houston, was not in attendance.
A source told People that the two are not currently on good terms.
The Daily Mail reported yesterday that Bobbi K had better things to do than attend the wedding of her dad Bobby B -- she’s in NYC, filming a reality show. Naturally. The series, about her life, will be dubbed, “The Houston Family Chronicles.”
Surely we’ll have plenty of time to explore that topic in the future, so let’s get back to the happy day at hand....
Brown and his three-year-old ring bearing son had their swagger on, as they rocked the aisle in matching red suits and white Adidas kicks.
We would like to offer our congrats to the happy and cute couple. We hope things go better for Bobby this time around, and if not, we hope he has the sense not to make a reality show out of it.
