Bobby Brown Cannot 'Rise Above' His Alcohol Issues
Bobby Brown’s story shaping up to be a tragedy.

Shortly after checking back into rehab, his daughter Bobbi Kristina has spoken up about his current condition. According to the 19-year-old, Brown is not conquering the demons that have consumed him recently.

While leaving the LAX airport, TMZ caught up with Bobbi to see how her dad was doing. When asked if he was “rising above” his alcohol issues, Bobbi scoffed.

“Rise above' is not the word you should use,” she said. “Not at all.”

Conflicting reports from the family and even Bobby himself seem to confuse the situation at hand.

Two months after his marriage to Alicia Etheredge in Hawaii, it was reported that Bobby had checked into rehab for was reported to be “alcohol addiction.” Etheredge told RadarOnline.com that he was in the facility for some time and was “doing great.”

On March 26, Brown was charged with DUI. He was pulled over for using his cell phone while driving. But the investigating officer discovered a slew of other problems, including his .12 blood alcohol level and the fact that he was driving with a suspended license.

When Bobby pled “not guilty,” his bail was adjusted to prohibit him from drinking alcohol moving forward, driving or not.

In April, he gave a sit down interview with the “Today” show’s Matt Lauer where he played victim and told the anchor that he was “clean and sober from narcotics” and that Whitney Houston was addicted to drugs before he met her.

Sadly, it seems like it’s been a downward spiral for Bobby and it will take more than convincing us he’s okay to pull himself back out.
