Vicci Martinez stole the show on last night's The Voice. Martinez closed with Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine. While it started off shaky, Martinez pulled it off and gave a stellar performance that validated America's decision for choosing her as semifinalist.
Dia Frampton has been consistent in her powerful, heartfelt performances as well. This week she chose REM's Losing My Religion. Frampton already has a couple of albums out, and critics are calling her the Kelly Clarkson of The Voice. Frampton is on team Blake Shelton, who seems to be her number one fan.
Hollyscoop caught up with Shelton after the show, and he told us that, while he might be confident with his choices thus far, he's gotten flack from someone else:
"Miranda is obsessed with this show. Oh my God! And trust me, some of the decisions I have made along the way, I have gotten an earful about it. "
Shelton also told us what he enjoys most about marriage:
"The best part of being married is for some reason, I don't know if it’s like this for everybody else, but I feel like there's like this load off my shoulders, you know what I mean? It's like OK, from now on when I say something stupid and she can get mad at me, but we're married, so it's going to be a big deal if she wants to break up with me now."
Blake also told us that the two of them have been through an "unbelievable amount of crap together, which people don't even know about. Which is how probably relationships should be before you get married, because when all that stuff is over and the dust settles, we're still standing there staring at each other, and it's like dammit, let's get married."
