Blake Lively Sizzles in the New 'Savages' Trailer

Blake Lively has come a long way since ‘Gossip Girl.’

Lively stars in the latest Oliver Stone movie, Savages, and the first trailer for the flick has just been released.

“Just because I’m telling you this story doesn’t mean I’m alive at the end of it. It’s that kind of story, where things just got so out of control.”

Blake opens the trailer with that bold statement, immediately drawing you in. The movie focuses on two different sects of the drug world—symbolic of Blake’s character’s two boyfriends, Ben and Chon, played by Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch.

"Ben went to Berkeley and double-majored in business and botany. He takes 99 percent of the violence out of the business. Other one percent? Well, that's where Chon comes in."

Salma Hayek stars in the flick, playing the head of a Mexican drug cartel. I know, she’s way too cute to be the head of a Mexican drug cartel. But she pulls it off.

“There’s something wrong with your love story, baby,” Hayek tells Lively.

Interestingly, during casting, Jennifer Lawrence was actually going to play Blake Lively’s part. She turned it down to star in some movie called ‘The Hunger Games’? I don’t know if you’ve heard of it.

Teresa Palmer and Olivia Wilde also reportedly tried out for the role, having met with Stone.

Kitsch explains the movie further: “We’re this boutique-y kind of beyond A-grade marijuana dealers that have a low profile, more or less, and keep it that way on purpose,” Kitsch tells EW.
