Blake Lively
Blake Lively might be this beautiful successful actress now, but life wasn’t all that great for her in grade school.

Let's just say she wasn’t as popular as her 'Gossip Girl' character Serena and the Blair's of the world weren't so nice to her.

Blake graces the cover of Vogue this month where she talks about getting teased at school, how the economic crisis will affect the show, and of course GG fashion.

Speaking about attending school in LA:
"It was the only school where people were just downright mean to me. They would make fun of my clothes because I dressed differently than the other kids."

On whether GG writers will change the show to better reflect newer economic realities:
“We live in an alternate universe on the show; it’s a heightened reality, so I don’t think the writers would work that in. They created a show that people can watch after a long day and not have to stress and worry and feel the burdens of real life. It’s just an escape, watching these sparkly lives and just escaping into this other world for an hour.”

Blake on Gossip Girl fashion:
"The fashion is just unbelievable. You can watch our show on mute and be entertained."

On putting her personal touches on Serena's wardrobe:
"The more they work with me and see my style, and the more I learn about fashion, the more input I have. It's more collaborative now than it was in the beginning because then I had no idea what I was doing."
