The latest star to Gleek out is Billy Joel. This was hinted about by show creator Ryan Murphy months ago, and it sounds like Joel is up for it! He told Access Hollywood, “I already have,” when asked if he would sign off on a ‘Glee’ episode of Billy Joel.
“I said, ‘Yeah, go ahead, use my stuff,” said Joel. “I was in a chorus when I was in high school, why not?”
But unlike Britney Spears or Neil Patrick Harris, Billy won’t be playing a character, or even himself for that matter, on the episode. “I’m just not a big TV actor type of guy. I’m a piano player,” he said.
Speaking of Neil Patrick Harris, he sang Joel’s song “Piano Man” on the show last season, and earned an Emmy for his work on the series.
We think the show can convince him to do a small role too!

Alexa Ray Joel's publicist Claire Mercuri won't say which home the 23-year-old is staying (Billy Joel has homes in Manhattan and on eastern Long Island), but did confirm that she's doing "much better."
"She is feeling much better. She is with her family and looking forward to getting back on track," Claire Mercuri, the rep for Alexa Ray and her father Billy Joel, said in a statement Monday.
Alexa was hospitalized for several hours Saturday after police received an emergency call from a female friend saying she had taken several pills. Police say it is not clear whether she accidentally overdosed or attempted suicide.
We're just glad to hear she's doing better!
According to some reports, Alexa took eight sleeping pills because she was upset about her boyfriend. She reportedly told her friend she wanted to end her life.
Luckily her friend called 911 on time and paramedics were able to revive her. She was treated at New York’s St. Vincent Hospital before being released later that evening.
And now her famous father’s representative insists she's doing fine: “She is in a stable condition. She is going to be fine.”
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Her friend said Alexa had taken pills and was feeling despondent. She said she wasn’t feeling good about herself.”

A female called 911 from Alexa's New York apartment telling emergency dispatchers that she had "taken pills" and was having difficulty breathing, reports Radaronline.
Alexa was taken to New York's St. Vincent's Hospital where a NYPD sources say she is "conscious" and expected to recover.
Investigators at NYPD are saying the suspected drug overdose may have been part of an attempted suicide, according to Radar.
Alexa has reportedly been having a hard time dealing with her parent’s personal problems. Last year her mother Christie and stepfather Peter Cook made headlines after Peter's cheating scandal went public.
Earlier this year her father Billy also went through a divorce from Katie Lee Joel.
Luckily Alexa is in "stable" condition and is expected to make a full recovery. It's so sad that the family has to deal with this right before the holidays, and it doesn't help that the entire world now knows about her personal battle. So sad. We wish her a speedy recovery!

Reps for Billy and Katie told the NY Daily News, "After nearly five years of marriage, Billy and Katie have decided to separate.”
Rumor has it Katie’s been hooking up with the much more age-appropriate Isreali fashion designer Yigal Azrouel, who is 36.
Sources say Katie and Yigal were spotted dirty dancing in Miami in January and that Azrouel has referred to Lee as "my girlfriend."
A rep for the Joels Claire Mercuri insisted that Azrouel was just a friend and that Billy, 60, was happy to skip the parties, fashion shows and fundraisers that his younger wife enjoyed.
Joel's spokeswoman Claire Mercuri denies the allegations, saying, "Their decision to separate was absolutely unrelated to Yigal."
The source tells NY Daily News, "It was really the age difference that caught up with them," said a friend of the couple.
"They grew apart. She is very career-oriented. She loves going out. She loves the city. When Billy isn't touring, he'd rather be on Long Island with his motorcycles and boats."
Mercuri said in a statement, "Billy's doing fine. He's looking forward to resuming his Face2Face Tour with Elton John."
What’s interesting is that just yesterday there were reports of Billy buying Sag Harbor seafood restaurant Jeff and Eddy's. Maybe this is what he intends on giving her in the divorce! We’re sure she’s hoping for a little more!
