Billy Bob To Play Freddy Krueger?

We might be seeing a new face on Elm Street! As we reported earlier, Michael Bay has plans to remake the horror classic Nightmare On Elm Street. And what makes this rumor worth listening to is that it was started by the original Freddy himself, Robert Englund.

He was on Dr. Drew's Lovelin last week, and told listeners Michael wanted Billy Bob for the role, and wasn't opposed to being replaced. We know one thing for sure with Bay attached.

Expect a big budget, lots of effects, and maybe even a new take on the old striped sweater look for Freddy. Yay or nay on Billy Bob as Freddy?
