Billy Bob Thornton's Daughter Found Guilty of Manslaughter
Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter Amanda Brumfield was found guilty of manslaughter in the death of her friend’s daughter.

Brumfield was babysitting 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia, when Brumfield claimed that the little girl hit her head when she fell out of her playpen.

Brumfield claims it was an accident but Prosecutors said a fall from that height would not account for the three-and-a-half inch fracture found on the girl’s skull.

Thornton’s daughter was acquitted of the first-degree murder charge and aggravated child abuse charges but was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter.

Thornton spoke about his daughter’s arrest in 2009 by releasing a statement that he and his daughter had been estranged for sometime. He has had “no contact” with her for “quite some time,” he then went on to give his condolences to the family of the little girl.
