William Jefferson Clinton was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas. Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States. He served two terms from 1993-2001 and left office with a 65% approval rating. Prior to becoming President, Clinton was the governor of Arkansas.
During his presidency, the United States enjoyed peace and prosperity.
Clinton came under fire for an inappropriate relationship with a White House intern named Monica Lewinsky. The Republican controlled House of Representatives voted to impeach Clinton but the Senate acquitted him. In recent years, Clinton has done charitable work and wrote an autobiography.
