'Biggest Loser' Olivia Ward: I'm Finally Ready to 'Live Life'

Want to become an almost-millionaire? Balloon up to double your size and let Jillian Michaels verbally abuse you for weeks.

Olivia Ward lost half her body weight during this season's Biggest Loser, but she gained about a quarter of a million dollars in prize money.

Ward started the season competing alongside her sister, Hannah Curlee. After weeks of intense dieting and working out, Ward lost 49.3% of her body weight, which started at 261 pounds.

Ward says, "My whole outlook on life is different; it makes me realize if I want something I can go for it. Before, I used put so many restrictions on myself, because I was afraid to be disappointed. It's time to go out there and fall on my face a little bit. I'm excited to get out there and live life."

So how does Ward plan on maintaining her new physique? Five to six days of spinning a week. Ward says she's tried to lose weight in the past, but it worked this time because "weight loss happens in the mind."

"I worked from the inside out," Ward says.

Since her slim down, Ward's husband, Ben, has lost 113 pounds himself.
""[Ben] realized I was at a crossroads and he didn't want me to get to the end the journey and then he's at the crossroad," Ward said. "He really dug within himself and found his issues, worked on those and shed the weight"
Ward is an opera singer and plans to continue her career.
