Big Brother

As the fifth season opens, it has been eight weeks since Amber's death and Wilson is still in quite the funk. Just back from bereavement leave, he announces that he's leaving Princeton-Plainsboro for good. Not surprisingly, House's reaction to the news is the elephant in the room for the entire episode. In fact, tonight's medical challenge (a 37-year-old workaholic assistant to a hard-charging feminist leader) is just background noise to him — until he notices that Thirteen is getting emotionally involved the case.
90210 @ 8pm
Could you really call the show 90210 if Brenda and Kelly didn't have a spat over a guy? This time around the gal pals disagree about Kelly's friendship with fellow West Beverly staff member Ryan. But wait, didn't Brenda encourage Kelly to go out with Ryan in the first place? Hmm. Over at the Wilsons, Dixon recognizes the strain a Beverly Hills lifestyle can have on the wallet and decides to get work at the Peach Pit. Such a good kid, that Dixon.
Lincoln Heights @ 8pm
As the drama returns for its third season, violence once again enters the lives of the Sutton family, this time coming directly into their home. While Eddie and Jenn are away, there's a break-in at their house. The place isn't empty though — Cassie is there with boyfriend Charles. The two of them try to hide, but the thugs eventually find them, and things escalate to the point where Cassie and Charles are held hostage during a police standoff.
Big Brother 10 @ 9pm
A Renegade will be the champion of the series' 10th edition, but will it be Dan or Memphis? The dynamic duo executed their winning plan to perfection when they evicted 75-year-old Jerry last week. Now, after 71 days of confinement, one will walk away with $500,000 and the other with $50,000. Also, viewers award $25,000 to their favorite juror. Do you think it just might be Jerry?

When will people learn that drinking and styling simply don't mix? Tonight, one contestant has too much to drink during a challenge that involves creating a style for the band A Cursive Memory. He gets a bit hostile, and his behavior winds up displeasing the band and endangering the safety of his team. Will his disruptive conduct cost him his spot in the competition, or will he get a shot to redeem himself?
Kichen Nightmares @ 8pm
As this show returns for a second season, Chef Gordon Ramsay returns to several Season 1 restaurants he helped in tonight's two-hour opener. Like a teacher checking on students' progress, Ramsay revisits eateries to see if they continued to do as he advised and evaluates their success. Among the places featured is Finn McCool's, an Irish restaurant in the Hamptons. Originally, it was run by a feuding, overstressed family that was wallowing in $20,000 debt a month and serving subpar food until Ramsay helped them turn things around. Find out if they stayed the course or drowned.
The Cho Show @ 11pm
Margaret goes green tonight with a trip into the wilderness where she and the gang must disconnect themselves from modern luxuries. As they're forced to live in a tent and forage for food, the infighting begins. Margaret finally allows the group to eat real food and during the meal the Chos relate stories of their struggles during the Korean War, giving the group a newfound appreciation of their lives.
Big Brother @ 8pm
Now that Memphis has used the Power of Veto on Dan, Renny and Keesha are on the block. Who will be evicted next? Who will become the next Head of Household? And will Jerry make good on his promise to take revenge on Memphis? We'll find out tonight.

Benjamin Bratt returns to the small screen in this dark and brooding cable drama as William "The Cleaner" Banks, a recovering addict who stages interventions. Banks and his team of interventionists are no saints. They help addicts while dealing with their own drug demons; they try to heal families, but Banks struggles in his own marriage and with fatherhood. Interventions often bring them into clashes with the criminal underworld, but they're not bound to work within the law to get the job done. In tonight's opener, they help a high-school athlete who became a meth addict following the death of his father.
From G's to Gents @ 10pm
Call it a VERY modern version of "My Fair Lady." "From G's to Gents," produced by Jamie Foxx, moves 14 unbelievably unpolished men into a posh mansion together where they're given social makeovers in order to learn style, etiquette, manners, grammar, and even that famous game of snobs, croquet! Hip-hop artist and fashion designer Fonzworth Bentley doesn't just serve as host, but also adviser to the soon-to-be gentlemen throughout the season. Each week one of the guys will be eliminated as the remaining men try to become the ultimate gent...and win $100,000.
Big Brother 10 @ 9pm
Now that we've been introduced to this season's ten contestants and everyone's settled into the house (or should we say fishbowl…), it's time to get down to business. Tonight, the first Power of Veto is held followed by nominations for eviction later this week. Let the plotting, backstabbing and smack-talking begin!
The Secret Life of the American Teenager @ 8pm
Ben and Amy finally share their first kiss and Ben becomes even more smitten with her. Later, Amy reveals her secret to her sister, but when will she break the news to her parents? Elsewhere, Adrian thinks Ricky is just using her for sex and Grace uses Ricky as a cover to sneak around with Jack.
Must Love Kids @ 9pm
New series on TLC in which three strong and optimistic single moms who are actively searching for love meet their suitors for the first time and decide whom they would like to potentially date.

She was recruited by show producers to make a guest cameo on the show to boost ratings. Then it was revealed that KFC was one of their main sponsors, which conflicts with everything Pam stands for. But she's defending herself, saying "Every show has a bunch of sponsors and it's not something you look into when you are offered a job. But it's kind of interesting, it's a coincidence."
The paycheck Pam received probably helped her with her decision too. She says it was "much more than I am worth. I don't want to say how much but it is a lot."
Kind of a double standard don't ya think?
June 25, 2008

The producers are calling her an "uber special VIP guest" in the promos. And they're also under some impression that she's still a hot commodity.
They say, "Pamela has been in my sights for quite some months and I'm delighted to announce her involvement in my show. The reaction from the housemates will be worth watching."
What, will she be naked when she shows up?! Wouldn't surprise us, actually.

The models get personal training from Tyra tonight as she teaches them how to express themselves during a fashion show and work the end of a runway. Each gal then takes part in a posing challenge, with the winner getting to work (in the nude!) with photographer and judge Nigel Barker (nice work if you can get it). And what would a Top Model episode be without a little drama in the house? Some of the posers become alarmed when one lady's clock keeps waking them up during the night, which leads, of course, to some not exactly model behavior.
It feels like the winter edition of the low-rated reality series has gone on forever. It's been 49 days since the original 16 houseguests entered the compound, and half of them are still in the game. At least obnoxious crybaby Matt, the first member of the jury, is gone. Who will join him tonight: Sharon or Chelsia? Does it matter? Unfortunately, there is no one in the house as entertaining as last season's winner Evel Dick, who demonstrated again on last night's show why viewers either love him or hate him. The producers should bring him back more often.
Have you ever thought about how a town the size of Elmo can support Ben's professional hockey team? It's probably not a good idea to try, but the story line gives the producers a diversion from weightier matters, like Cash's kidney disease (he's not getting better) or the depression Jack has been suffering from since his ordeal in the Bering Sea (there might be some light at the end of this tunnel). Tonight, Ben signs an actual star (Diego Klattenhoff) for the Huskies, a Croatian who's as temperamental as he is talented. But the hockey hotshot can be charming, and Annie notices.
The palate-pleasing series continues to serve up good reality eats when the remaining culinary artists take on more gastronomical challenges. On the menu: The foodies must dish up fare at a neighborhood block party, with chef and Mexican cuisine master Rick Bayless overseeing the task.
