Remember that video of a fan—an actual industrial fan fan, the kind with propellers used for ventilation—grabbing Beyoncé by the weave mid-song and terrifying a nation?
Now another Beyoncé fan—this time a human, the kind with unceasing enthusiasm and devotion to all things Beyoncé—grabbed the singer, pulled her into the crowd mid-song and terrified us yet again.
While performing in Sao Paulo, Brazil yesterday, the singer got close to her fans yet again during a segment of the show that includes audience interaction.
Beyoncé was getting the crowd warmed up with a chorus from “Irreplaceable” when one member of the audience got a little too hot with the singer, reached up on stage, and pulled her off her feet.
Security guards rushed to the scene to break up the encounter and remove the fan from the concert, but after a few more bars of the song, Beyoncé regrouped and allowed the fan to stay.
“It’s all right, it’s all right,” she said into the mic, before approaching him to add, “Nice to meet you. Thank you, I love you, too.”

(Fun fact: Bey was quickly whisked away after the show to fly to San Diego and meet up with her husband Jay Z to perform at LeBron James’ wedding last night. The duo sang “Crazy In Love” at the after-party.)
