Of all the people most impressed by the Super Bowl halftime show, it appears as though the person who was on stage is at the top of the list.
After blowing the minds of over 100 million onlookers and live broadcast viewers, Beyoncé couldn’t hide an ear-to-ear grin coming off stage.
In a brief interview moments after her performance, the 31-year-old singer said she was satisfied with the show.
“All the hard work… Five months of preparation and it was really great,” she told Extra.
In addition to beaming with pride, Bey had a few things to say about the other happenings of Sunday night…
On the Destiny’s Child reunion:
“So beautiful… It really was a magnificent night for me and the girls.”
On Alicia Keys’ performance of the national anthem and Jennifer Hudson’s performance of “America the Beautiful,” which featured the Sandy Hook choir:
“They were just so classy and beautiful… It was just a great night to be a woman.”
On the power going out, which some people have interpreted as a message from the Illuminati:
“Lord Jesus, it’s a fire.”
