Beyonce is performing at the brand new Revel Resort in Atlantic City this weekend and to tease fans, she’s just released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the intense rehearsal process for her big post-baby-bump debut!
“It is exciting. I feel a little nervous,” says Beyonce, “I’m enjoying being a mother so it’s like going back to my old job It is a little strange, but it’s important that you don’t lose yourself, still have your own passions. I’m back to work, I’m back to business.”
This is Beyonce’s first performance in nearly a year.
The video documents her working with a voice coach on “Halo” where she jokes, “You know, I haven’t sang in a year” and then proceeds to sing the song flawlessly.
She practices with the dancers on some sultry chair choreography. She stays up late at night going over lighting cues and set design. It’s a pretty intimate look at what goes into putting on a “Beyonce” show.
“I think the show has the potential of being one of the greatest shows we’ve done,” says her long-time choreographer Frank Gatson.
It’s a shame she’s only performing three shows. Will she take this “greatest” show on the road? We can only hope.
From the looks of the video, it’s no wonder everyone wants to be a popstar.
It’s true, even Michelle Obama wants to be Beyonce.
Michelle Obama, speaking to People magazine to promote her upcoming book release, said, “it looks like musicians just have the most fun,” says Mrs. Obama.
The only problem? Michelle has no musical talents. Well, thankfully Beyonce does.
