Kelly recently told Hollyscoop that Beyonce will be "a wonderful mom."
"She seems happy and excited about the pregnancy," Rowland told us.
But just in case Beyonce and Jay-Z get a little less than excited about cleaning up baby poop, Rowland says she can fill in. The singer told BANG Showbiz:
"I'll be on hand for babysitting duties, and I'm actually very good with messy diapers!"
Now, that's a good friend right there. Rowland also revealed that she's still looking for a baby shower gift.
"I have no idea what I'm going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won't be spoilt, but she will be very well looked-after."
You can bet on that. Beyonce was recently reported to have started building a 2,200 square foot baby room. That's not a nursery. That's a shopping mall.
Like a lot of us, Kelly is coping with the fact that everyone around her is either getting married or pregnant. But instead of feeling pressured, Rowland is enjoying her friends' new additions.
"I'm not broody," Kelly said. "I have five friends who are pregnant right now and so I will be borrowing their babies to play with."
That's the way to have a baby. Borrow one and give it back when you're done. Kelly also tells us that she's enjoying her best friend's pregnancy.
"It's just so beautiful, and I’m just so happy for my sister and her husband and just the fact that it’s just such a blessing," Kelly told Hollyscoop.
And it looks like Beyonce and Jay-Z have already made their first executive decision as parents.
"I think they've chosen a name."
While her friends might be nesting, Kelly is doing her thing right now. She won the Ultimate TV Personality prize at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards 2011 in London last night. She strutted down the red carpet in a gorgeous, full-length pink gown. And as far as starting a family, Kelly says she'll have to meet "Mr. Right" first.
"Mr. Right is a man that has great confidence," Kelly told Hollyscoop. "A man that is happy and secure with himself and knows his goals. Knows what he wants in life."
