Jay-Z just released his newest song, Glory, which is a tribute to his new daughter, Blue Ivy. It’s about as tear-jerking as you could expect, but in the track, Jay-Z also reveals a “tragic” miscarriage that occurred to Beyonce before Blue came along. Jay raps:
“False alarms and false starts, all made better by the sound of your heart. All the of the pain of the last time, I prayed so hard it was the last time.”
"Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you'd disappear/But nah baby you magic."

The song was produced by Pharrell and includes audio sample of Blue Ivy crying moments after her birth. Barely two days old and she’s already featured on a Jay-Z track. Kinda makes you wonder what you’re doing with your life.
Jay-Z continues in the song: "The most amazing feeling I feel, words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you."
The rapper stuck by his wife’s side when she delivered Blue Ivy via Caesarean section on Saturday. She checked into New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital under the pseudonym Ingrid Jackson.
The number four is a significant number for Beyonce, and the name “Ivy” is rumored to be a play on the Roman numerals IV.
“We all have special numbers in our lives,” Beyonce said. “And four is that for me. It's the day I was born, my mother's birthday, and a lot of my friends' birthdays are on the fourth. April 4 is my wedding date.”
