Diva Beyonce: Don't Look at Me

Beyonce

Nothing annoys me more than when celebrities refuse to make eye contact with 'average people.'

Beyonce got all diva last night avoiding eye-contact with photographers and fans while making a quick exit after partying with Jay-Z and P.Diddy at the launch of Sean Jean's "Unforgivable Woman" fragrance in NYC.

No joke there have been times when we've been in the same room as celebrities (I won't mention names) and their publicists have given everyone strict warnings not to look them in the eye. They get their picture in a magazine and all of a sudden they're a quasi-god.

Well how would you feel if you had every single person in your vicinity staring at you and trying to make eye contact with you all day long, every day? It would creep me out.

Celebs are the most uneducated and pathetic people in the world. First of all, they have no real LIVES; second of all, many of them lack talent anyway, so they shouldn't complain about the attention they get in the first place. Who does B think she is? I've never liked her because she has always struck me as a stuck up biotch! Plus, she needs to cut that damn hair of hers! I can't stand it! She's had the same hairstyle for over 3 years now!

You're only supposed to sign 'official' things like CDs, etc. You're not supposed to sign paintings or unofficial things, because those will be on ebay within an hour. Every major celebrity does that. Her and Jay Z were leaving at like 2am? What are they supposed to do?

Maybe she didn't want people making eye contact with her because she feels self-conscious about all the weight she gained...she looked REALLY uncomfortable at the MTV VMAs because she was big as a truck!

Yeah. Beyonce is kinda fake. It was messed up when she refused to sing the painting. And how she thinks she's superior. Then tries to act like she's so angelic and meek on interviews. And how after Britney and Madonna kissed, she said that she didn't like that stuff. And 2/3 weeks later, she was spotted at a gay bar with her friends. The thing that annoys me is that Beyonce is supposed to be the best black singer today and you have little white bitches out singing her. But anyway, not being fake does make your songs more credible queen B.

She was cool before she became a diva. Now she's overrated & overexposed. Her fans put her where she is, she should remember that

You guys are crazy and totally unrealistic about Beyonce being stuck up, not talented, and fat! This girl is awesome! She is a complete package; beautiful, talented, and gracious. Just think if you had so much media attention, countless praises for your talent, and multiple races singing your praises, you too would become just a bit DIVA-ISH!! Also, the media is good at editing and slicing info that I bet this pic is not representative of her not wanting to speak to anyone. She probably is innocently looking to the sky. Beyonce is confident and she should be! Bee is best!!

She has amazing positive energy. I USED TO THINK THAT SHE COULDN'T SING OR DANCE THAT WELL BUT SHE HAS EARNED RESPECT FROM HER DILIGENCE AND STRENTH TO KEEP IT TOGETHER, MAKE IT HAPPEN, BY WHATEVER MEANS SECCESSARY. SHE HAS GREAT MEDIA STYLE AND CARISMA. WHICH HAS GAVE HER THE OPPURTUNITY TO BUILD HER TALENT TREMENDOUSLY. ONE LOVE "B". YOU HYPMOTIZE ME, COMING FROM COLUMBUS, OHIO.

She was sad because she couldn't join them. Davenport has spina bifida, which caused her paralysis from the waist down. "Riding down the street was something I just wanted to do," she said. Her parents tried pushing her on a bicycle so she could experience the thrill of riding, but it didn't work. Her legs got tangled with the pedals. Latin for "split spine," spina bifida is a birth defect characterized by failure of the spine to close properly. In some cases, the spinal cord protrudes through the opening causing irreversible nerve damage. • Wish List 2007 Despite her paralysis, Davenport, 28, lives independently. She uses a wheelchair for mobility and takes the bus from her home to her part-time job at United Cerebral Palsy on Victory Parkway, where she works as a receptionist to offset college expenses. In June, she received an associate's degree in psychology from Cincinnati State Technical & Community College. Beginning in January, she'll be back in the classroom continuing her psychology studies at the University of Cincinnati, where she is enrolled in the bachelor's degree program. Davenport's goal is to work with children at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where she received treatment and therapy. "I just love Children's," she said. "I've been raised in Children's Hospital since birth." She wants to help children cope with the psychological aspects of illness. Maintaining a healthy, independent lifestyle is important to Davenport. To help her do this, she would like a three-wheel hand cycle. "With a hand cycle, Lucille could increase her strength, mobility and inclusion in the community," said Lori Linville, service coordinator for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cincinnati Inc. "She is a bright girl. She is determined (and) hard working and I knew that she really wanted this and I knew she would use it." Davenport loves exercise and wants the hand cycle to build her muscles, increase her upper-body strength and get a cardio workout. But the price - $2,150 - is out of her reach. Insurance does not cover it. "It is a beautiful bike," she said. "I never knew growing up that they had hand controls for a bike. I have a park around the corner from me and I would love to take a ride to the park with my puppy," she said. "I want to call up my family and tell my brothers, 'Let's go riding with the bike.' That would be a joy for me." • Want to give? I like Beyonce only for her music, i had a choice to buy all her albums i could have left them on the shelves, it is her choice to wanna talk to me or not. Celebs owe us no more than what we paid for. I would never go out my way to meet a celebrity why would i wanna know people that are gonna do nothing but take from me.
