Beyonce to Sing For Barack & Michelle Obama's First Dance

Beyonce’s wish came true! She’s going to serenade our new president and the first lady for their first dance on inauguration night! The AP confirmed the news today.

But Beyonce’s song selection is being kept a secret. A rep for the Presidential Inaugration Committee wouldn't say what she's going to sing, "It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment."

We think it’s safe to say that Single Ladies is out, or anything involving Sasha Fierce for that matter. Crazy In Love would be hilarious! But we like the idea MSNBC put in our heads about Beyonce singing At Last by Etta James. She just finished filming Cadillac Records, in which she plays the iconic singer.

We think that would be a perfect first dance song! What do you think it should be?

Update: Beyonce has confirmed that the first dance song will indeed be Etta James’ At Last.

In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, she said, "I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady.

"To sing At Last while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history."
