Michelle Obama just got some fan mail from one of the biggest celebrities on the planet.
“Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman,” Beyonce wrote on her personal website. “She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!!”
Not to mention she’s got great arms.
And Beyonce didn't stop there. The singer continued:
"No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope -- she's humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways."
She added that she’s proud to have Blue Ivy Carter “grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”
Beyonce and Jay-Z have long supported the Obama family. Beyonce performed Etta James’ ‘At Last’ at President Barack Obama’s 2008 inaugural ball. She also teamed up with Michelle last year during the ‘Let’s Move’ campaign. And last month, Beyonce and her mom, Tina Knowles, attended an Obama fundraiser hosted by the First Lady along with Robert de Niro.
“Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us,” Beyonce concluded.
The feeling is mutual. The Obamas are friends with the Carters. When asked whether he prefers Kanye or Jay-Z, Obama answered the latter. Not that he’s not also a Kanye fan. Obama said of Ye:
“He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.”
